What happens when you take someone who thinks too much, tries to wrap everything in words, and justify themselves via internal dialog, then tell them to take a long, hot soak in memories to try and figure out how they got from there to here?
Is it good?
@Alonealastalovedalongthe I'd like to think so! It's one of the projects I'm proudest of, by far, but also one that took the most out of me emotionally. It's far easier to get stuck in rumination rather than processing. I'm happy that it touched others, as well, though also disappointed at myself for Not being better about content warnings.
Oh cool, didn't realize you made it
It does look pretty awesome!
That's a good question. I think it's more that I'm kind of hooked on the sensation of the numinous? That sort of feeling that you get when trapped between joy and terror or agony and ecstasy, that literal standing-beside-yourself experience of something greater, or when something innocuous begins to take on too much meaning. There are parts in there about my experiences with neopaganism and it came out before my experiences with the Quakers, but the vast majority of the time it's far more vague, focused on just that sensation of the numinous.
Flippin sweet answer, thank you!
